Your Coffee Describes You
Some people think that we are what we drink, or in this point that I’m about to make, what we drink. Would you agree? I’ve been in and out of a lot of coffee houses to think that this statement may hold some degree of truth to it, but it isn’t 100% accurate.
Let’s get rolling with an example. I, for one, love my coffee bold and straight up. It’s pretty much what I am in real life – bold enough to take risks, and pretty much straightforward in how I approach things. I simply don’t believe in putting unnecessary frou-frou in my life.
Let’s go to our second example. A friend of mine likes to order Caramel Macchiato. It is strong and sweet, delicate and yet it has a kick to it. And that’s what she is in real life. She may look meek and fragile on the outside, but she’s got a hidden strength within her.
I’ve waited in queues with other people and found that their drinks matched the characters they reflected. You see colorful characters ordering fancy coffee drinks laced with additional anything.
I’ve met a lot of different people whose personality can be pretty much summed up by the coffee drink they order – the elegant lady ordering classy, gourmet coffee. The Casanova ordering the smoothest blend in the shop, the night owls ordering the extra bold blends – but this isn’t always true. You’ll find people who are plain as they come, ordering the most complex mix of coffee drinks.
So what do you think? Do we choose these drinks intentionally to show our personality or is it a subconscious thing? Would you agree that if you are your coffee drink?
