Seattle’s Best 6th Avenue Bistro Blend

I enjoy a good, strong cup of coffee just as much as the next coffee addict. And whenever I hear of rich-tasting coffee, it kind of makes me wish that I was in some European cafe where people like their coffee dark and strong.

I’ve overheard people say that Seattle’s Best’s 6th Avenue Bistro Blend was as good as the coffee served in European cafes. I guess it’s about time I gave it a shot.

This coffee has a solid, smoky aroma to it. But the smokiness is one that’s more desirable than burnt, so I don’t mind it at all.

Taste-wise, it has a dark, rich flavor that makes it great for perking you up. It is a full-bodied coffee, but it has a fine finish to it that makes it go down smooth as you drink it. Definitely a great choice for breakfast.

People who are conscious about hyperacidity can rest easy because this rich-tasting coffee has low acidity level. Good for 2 to 3 cups for the average person. Of course, it would be wise to take food in before drinking coffee to avoid upsetting your stomach.

I’d like to know what you think of Seattle’s 6th Avenue Bistro Blend, though. Did you enjoy it as much as I did?

I bought a bag of this coffee from my local Seattle's Best cafe because I wanted to try one of their darker roasts. Up until I had this, I had only tried their light-medium roasts, and I loved them. This particular blend is delicious. I grind all my coffee at home and brew in a french press, and this coffee is perfect for that. It's dark and rich with an unmistakeable smooth finish. I would recommend it to anybody who wants a good dark roast.

Just happened to try it this week. I only picked it up because we were out of coffee and I had no time to get to peet's. We weren't sure what to expect but it promised full body and dark, smoky taste, so we figured its worth a shot.
Its our new favorite. Smooth, balanced brightness, but still a dark full roast.
    I plan to buy more!

Never had it, but I'm interested because it has low acidity...
