Folgers Gourmet Selection – Vanilla Biscotti
Vanilla is a pretty common flavor to add to coffee, won’t you agree? I’ve seen it used in a lot of flavored coffees sold in the market, some of which I’ve already tried out for myself. I guess it’s only natural that since I’m trying out the different coffees of Folgers, I give their Vanilla Biscotti variant a spin.
Again, brewing using standard measurements, this Folgers Gourmet Selection variety was pleasing to my nose. You could smell the creamy vanilla goodness to it. I was praying the taste matched the aroma.
And it did. One sip of untouched Vanilla Biscotti brew and you’d immediately notice the distinct vanilla flavor in it. It has a smooth finish that makes it good to the last drop. I tried it mixed with plain milk and a little bit of sugar and it was still flavorful. I don’t think I even needed the extra sugar on it.
Folgers Vanilla Biscotti comes in ground and whole beans forms, so you have the option to grind them yourself or just scoop and brew. Either way is good. You’ll just have to be mindful of the difference in shelf life for ground and whole beans.
I enjoyed it. I find it great to pair with, say, banana bread or chiffon cake. You may have other pastries in mind that works well with vanilla-flavored beverages, so please, do share.
I wanna know if you’ve tried out Folgers Vanilla Biscotti and what you think about it, though.
