Coffee Rock Star For April
Graphics artist by day, hardcore rock star by night, and a Starbucks mainstay in between, that’s Bruce Jerome Allarey, our featured local coffee rock star of the month.
Bruce has been a regular customer of Starbucks North East Greenhills since his college years and has made lots of friends over the years, baristas and other regulars alike.
A talented graphics artist, Bruce is usually seen slaving away in front of his laptop at his favorite Starbucks outlet, finishing projects with a tall drip coffee by his side. But every once in a while, when something he sees strikes inspiration, he stops and takes time off to create beautiful artworks such as this.
When asked what inspires him to create such beautiful drawings, he answers with a simple “anything and everything”. But even if he’s a self-confessed coffee addict, Bruce shares that he often goes to his usual Starbucks branch more for the company of the friends he’s made there than for the coffee, even if it did start out as the opposite.
When he’s not working or drawing, you’d normally see Bruce goofing off with his friends, playing computer games on his laptop, or having a smoke with his friends.
